things to do today

It's just been too long since I've been posting. I really love blogging. Just for me ya know? I'm not good at coming up with real witty or interesting stuff, but I love the luxury of it. The other day I was reading Andrea's resolve to post once a day for a month, and I am thinking I would really enjoy that as well. So beginning today, I will be posting something every day for a month.

I definitely have no lack for stuff to blog about, I'll just have to keep it in mind... and keep my camera just a little closer :)

Today has been a great day so far. I went to bed early last night and consequently got up early this morning. I rarely see the numbers 7:30 unless accompanied by shrill frog croaking noises (yes, my alarm is frogs croaking... it works for me :)

I got so much done by noon.

Read my email, some blogs, did a little facebook stalking.

Didn't shower.

Watched a movie I've had saved on the dvr for a few weeks now.

Still didn't shower.

Changed out of my pj's into clean ones so that I could wash all my dirty clothes. I have this thing about only washing some of my clothes... someday I'll have need to get over that. But for now, it works.

Did.Not.Shower.

Hung some laundry outside to dry. In my pj's.

Began facebooking my family hoping everyone is getting stoked for our big family reunion next week.

Made egg salad for lunch and ate with my parents at the picnic table outside.

It's been a lovely day so far :)

And oh, did I mention we're having a family reunion next week? It's going to be a big one too. The kind where you meet relatives you never knew existed and have people in the same room/beds possibly who haven't been seen together in over 2 years. I am very excited for this time. For some reason, I feel as though we've all grown a lot over time and that this will be one of the best reunions ever. I certainly hope so.

zuccini makings

In preparation for the big reunion my mom is fervently making zuccini bread and I cannot wait to start sampling. You know, just to make sure it's safe and all.

getting ready

I think she said something about 6 double batches? Maybe it was 3. Anyhow, there is a lot of zuccini and carrot chopping that's been going on...

Now, I'm ready to get to some pertinent things that must be done today. For example: showering possibly.

I finally got out of my pj's at like 2 :) And I even showered. Kinda gross, huh.

But my house sure was clean!
