Because I just finished The Devil Wears Prada and I need some more pleasure reading!

I watched the movie before I knew this was a book. The movie was great...

The book was better.

That's how it goes for the most part though.

I loved the writing style of the author, it was easy to read, but very detailed.

The basis of this book is a young 23 or so year old girl just graduating from college seeking out work experience to launch her career as a journalist.

She finds herself neck deep in the fashion industry when she lands a job at one of the most fashion concious magazines in the world. Her boss is a class A wench (because I don't want to say what she really is!)

The story is a lot of fun to read, and it's based on actual events which makes it even better!

I actually got this good read from Laural at Mamasphere so the swap does work!
